Baker McKenzie IPG

Baker McKenzie FenXun

We were engaged by the law firm, Baker McKenzie to create engaging graphics and messaging, unlike that of a law firm and more like that of an art gallery, for their Intellectual Property Practice Group to announce the granting of their full license to advise on patents, copyrights and trademarks in Mainland China. We used the theme of Chinese inventions, representing them graphically as patent application diagrams.

Project Details

Solution

  • Visualise intellectual property practice and concepts with engaging graphic design

  • Use ancient Chinese inventions to tie the concept of intellectual property and Chinese culture to one another

  • Consider formats and media such as art printing and postcard format, which are both unusual for the legal industry and reflect the creative nature of the legal area.

  • Clearly convey messaging whilst adhering to Law Society requirements and standards
