Asia Art Archive / Tai Kwun
Portals, Stories, and Other Journeys stemmed from Asia Art Archive’s research, since 2014, into the personal archive of the late Hong Kong–based artist Ha Bik Chuen (1925–2009). The exhibition was held at Tai Kwun from April to August 2021.
We were engaged for the fabrication of art pieces and supporting exhibition materials, most notably the recreation of ‘Lo Ting’, a humanoid fish creature from curator, Oscar Ho’s, 1998 exhibition ‘Hong Kong Reincarnated - New Lo Ting Archaelogical Find.’
